as for coffee, the effect is usually that you are more active for a certain time, after which the effect wears off or rather after which you become more lseepy and less active than before you drank the coffee, and sleepier than you would be without drinking the coffee, so you require a new dosis of caffeine.
problem with me that i don't like how coffee tastes, and it also instantly results in me being sleepier than before drinking it (mind you, i am sleepier but i am forced to stay awake, which is a pain in the ass).. so i just do not drink coffee.
