since there are no real definitions of special mmorpg terms lemme say what i consider twinking:
every mmorpg that uses simplistic stuff like character levels has a processing curve/timeline for character development (which the devs try to keep balanced between fast processing so the players keep playing and slow processing so the players keep paying on a monthly basis).
now twinking is going around that timeline by using stuff a higher level has access to...
soo, if you had or knew a high level char, you could get high level loot for your low level in order to accelerate his development, or you could group with more powerfull characters and fight mob over your level to get higher xp/time than your level is supposed to..
twinking is not really bad.. quite contrary, twinking is good.. without twinking creating new characters is even more annoying for advanced players
